Super Open Class

Chandler BMX has added a new race class in 2007.  The class will be called "Super Open".  This class will be a race to compete for a cash payout.  Any current ABA  amateur member, age 15 or
over may race this class, racing either a 20" or Cruiser bike.  It will take a minimum of 3 riders to make a "Super Open" class.  Riders competing in the "Super Open" must also be signed up to
race in the regular 20" or Cruiser class.  All riders wishing to race this "Super Open", will be put
into one single class.  The cost to race "Super Open" will be $5.  The Pay Out will be 1st-40%,
2nd-30%, and 3rd-20% of the total collected for the "Super Open" (ex. 10 riders @ $5 = $50, therefore, payout would be 1st-$20, 2nd-$15, 3rd-$10).  "Super Open" races will be run on all race nights, beginning Friday, February 2nd, provided there are enough riders signed up to make a
legal class.  Qualifying will be based on the normal ABA qualifying system.  No points will be awarded for this open class.  When signing up for a "Super Open" race, fill out a separate race
form, with the class being "SO", with the ABA serial number and plate number of the bike you will be racing in the open class.
 

BIRTHDAY PARTY INFORMATION

The person having the party must be an ABA member.  If they are not a member,
they can purchase a membership at CHANDLER BMX.  It is $45.00 for (1) year.
Once they become a member, they can invite as many guests as they wish to the
party.  With the membership, they are able to, not only, have parties at the track, but
race and practice every week also.  Race and practice fees are additional.

Birthday Party rental of the track is $175.00 for the first 2 hours, then $75.00 per
hour thereafter.  Birthday Parties come with a FREE Vigor Full Face Helmet
(limited sizes and colors-helmets not guaranteed to fit the Birthday Boy/Girl).
It's a private party, with no one else on the track.  You bring your own food, drink etc. 
We have picnic tables that you can use.  You can also bring out your barbeque,
if you wish to have a cookout.  It's basically whatever you want: bring it.

Bring out whatever bike they want to ride.  Mountain bikes or BMX bikes are
the most popular.  Riders should have long pants, long sleeve shirt and a helmet.
We do have some loaner helmets, if needed.

We also have lights, so you could have the party Day or Night.
We recommend this during the hot summer months.
