Regular Full Year
Memberships
Yearly memberships
are $45 per year, $40 for second family member, $35 for third family
member, and $35 for a Cruiser membership with a regular 20"
membership. Regular Full Year Memberships are valid for a 12 month
period from the date joined and is renewable each year. First family
members will receive the BMXer, the ABA published monthly magazine, each month.
The regular full member will also receive ABA points for local, multi-point and
national races.
Gold Card Member
The ABA is offers a Gold Card Membership.
For $100 a year you can become an elite ABA Gold Card member. The perks
for this elite program include 1) First class delivery of the BMXer every
month. You will receive the magazine before anyone else. 2) Special
Gold Card Member line at sign ups at ABA Nationals. 3) Airline reward miles
program. 4) Special access to ABA website features i.e. access personal race
history etc. 5) If the Gold Member races 10 Nationals he/she will receive two
(2) Open National entry fees. 6) If the Gold Member races 20 local single point
races, he/she will receive coupons for 15% off items at ABA Racewear. 7) Gold
Members will receive a special decal for their vehicle stating that they are an
ABA Gold Member. 8) When a Gold Member signs up at a National, he/she will
receive a special ABA Thank You Award.
Temporary
Membership
The ABA offers a trial membership for $25. This membership is intended ONLY for
NEW riders to the sport
and is valid for 30 days ONLY. A rider may hold a temporary membership only one time in
their BMX career. This membership allows riders to compete at single
point races ONLY, yet no ABA points will be awarded and provides you with
no medical insurance coverage. If within the 30 day
period the rider wishes to become a full (annual) member, the initial $25 fee will be
applied to the full membership fee with presentation of the temporary
membership receipt.
